On Thursday, September 21, CT Strategies successfully hosted the inaugural CBP Foundation Charity Golf Tournament, which gathered over 140 participants and raised more than $70,000.
We are grateful for the tremendous support of sponsors, donations, and participants, as their contributions enable us to host this annual event. We deeply appreciate all those who engaged in uplifting this honorable cause. It was an honor to witness significant participation from numerous current and former CBP officials, including Deputy Commissioner Pete Flores, who expressed gratitude for the Foundation and its supporters. This year, we again collaborated with the Border Patrol Foundation’s Honoring the Green Tournament to have golfers compete for the CBP Cup Trophy, symbolizing the joint missions and recognizing the best-scoring foursome across both tournaments.
Congrats to the Quantum Vetting team for winning the CBP Cup Trophy!

CTS would like to extend special acknowledgement to the event’s board of advisors, including Al Gina, Bob Perez, Robert Watt, William Ferrara, John Wagner, Andrew Farrelly, and Al Feingold, for their critical role in orchestrating and ensuring the impact of the tournament. We express our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the CBP Foundation Charity Golf Tournament a fantastic event. We eagerly look forward to even greater success in 2024!
It is important to note that the CBP Foundation is a newly established organization, continuing the important work of the Roger L. Von Amelunxen Foundation’s (RLVAF) mission. In previous years, this charity event supported the RLVAF, which is in the process of ceasing operations after more than 40 years of activity. Moving forward, this and other charity events will fund the newly established CBP Foundation, ensuring ongoing support for CBP employees and their families nationwide.
We appreciate your patience and support as the foundation is still in the process of setting up an official website. However, we are still accepting donations to support the CBP Foundation here.
