A Trusted Guide In AEO Management

AEO Navigator is a guide for all AEO types in Europe.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to attaining AEO certification and maintaining compliance with an AEO programme. AEO Navigator offers bespoke, scalable services to help you become and stay AEO compliant.

Services

AEO Navigator can help guide you through each phase of the AEO journey.

Application Phase

If you’re considering applying for AEO authorisation, our Pre-Assessment Diagnostic, we will:

  • Help you identify which AEO authorisation best meets your company’s needs (e.g. AEO-S, AEO-C),
  • Evaluate your current policies and procedures against AEO criteria
  • Provide a list of the actions needed to align your company with the requirements of that AEO authorisation.

If you’re applying to become an AEO, we will assist you by:

  • Assisting in completing the Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ),
  • Conducting an on-site assessment of SAQ compliance,
  • Training employees on the AEO concept and its requirements, and
  • Coaching the employees responsible for your AEO
membership by assistance with the AEO management and monitoring of compliance.

Customs Review Phase

During the review of your application, the Customs Authority will conduct at least on-site audit to validate the information the application. We’ll support you during this process by:

  • Explaining the validation process and what to expect,
  • Conducting a preparatory site visit before the validation by Customs, and
  • Attending the validation by Customs.

Authorisation Maintenance Phase

Make sure your AEO compliance is not degrading by having our team do a health check. Customized to meet your needs, we can do a comprehensive evaluation of your compliance, or help you address challenges you’re having in meeting specific criteria.

The Risk Assessment is one of the most challenging aspects of AEO membership. We can help you with this process by advising you on policies and strategies; conducting a compliance evaluation of your business partners; or completing a full risk assessment for you.

If you’ve been notified by the Customs Authority that your company will be undergoing a revalidation, we can help you through the process. This includes assisting in resubmitting an SAQ; preparing for and attending the site visit; providing training and attending the revalidation with Customs if required.

We offer training on all components of AEO programmes, which can be provided in-person or virtually. We will customise the training to reflect your company’s operations.

We can take care of the ongoing monitoring and management of your AEO compliance. This includes risk assessments, training, revalidation support, and updating policies and procedures to ensure continuous compliance with AEO requirements.

Our team of AEO experts help you successfully navigate AEO programmes in Europe using their first-hand experience with these programmes.

We offer support in English, French, Dutch, German, and Italian.
