CT Strategies Hosts 3rd Annual Roger L. Von Amelunxen Foundation Golf Tournament

The 3rd Annual Roger L. Von Amelunxen Foundation Golf Tournament was another success; raising over $56,000 and gathering 93 participants. The Foundation, named after Amelunxen, a Customs Patrol Officer who was slain on duty in 1980, provides financial assistance to the employees and immediate families of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). A number of CBP employees and contractors, including INA Deputy Assistant Commissioner Ana Hinojosa, turned out to support the event. Many thanks to all of this year’s sponsors and Reston National Golf Course in Reston, VA for making it a great event. We look forward to making 2021 an even greater success!

Driving Company-Wide CTPAT Awareness

For most companies, the 12 Minimum Security Criteria (MSC) sections touch various departments, so making compliance a team effort is vital. The first step is to ensure that all key employees are aware of CTPAT requirements by having them participate in compliance efforts on a regular basis.
