Allen Gina Leads Panel on “Global Trade in a Time of Change” at Thomson Reuters 2nd Annual Government Conference

​On Wednesday, June 21st, in Washington DC at Thomson Reuters’ 2nd Annual Government Conference, titled ‘Finding Opportunity in Disruption’, Mr. Gina was joined by Geoff Powell, President of the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America; Adam Salerno, Executive Director of Global Supply Chain and Trade Facilitation at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; and Tom Cardamone, Managing Director of Global Financial Integrity to discuss ‘Balancing Enforcement, Risk Management, and Commercial Interests’ in the Global Trade sector.

Topics discussed by the panelists included: how manufacturers, exporters, and importers adjust operations as Administrations turnover and make policy changes; disruptions and innovations in the trade space in recent years, such as the massive growth in e-commerce; and expectations for U.S. trade relationships with Canada and Mexico in the near and long term.
