With over 34 years of experience as an accomplished law enforcement officer, investigator, trainer, consultant, advisor, Mr. JD Jackson possesses an extensive background in border security policy development, crisis incident management, and international investigations in field of international trade and travel.
His exceptional skills and professional, diplomatic behavior have been honed through a multitude of foreign and domestic assignments, which involved extensive interaction with senior leadership and their representatives at prestigious institutions such as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), State Department, and various U.S. and foreign law enforcement, government, and military agencies.
To enhance his leadership and management capabilities across diverse operational environments, Mr. Jackson has actively pursued training at the highest levels. He has undergone leadership and senior executive level programs at the CBP Leadership Institute, Foreign Service Institute Advanced Leadership Program, and the Harvard Kennedy School of Senior Executive Education Fellows Program. These programs have further enriched his skill set, enabling him to effectively navigate complex operational scenarios.
