On September 18, CT Strategies hosted The CBP Foundation’s annual golf tournament, a day dedicated to raising funds to support CBP employees and their families during times of hardship, while also enjoying a round of golf together.
The event opened with a presentation from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Honor Guard, followed by remarks from CBP Executive Assistant Commissioner (EAC) Diane Sabatino and Deputy EAC Donald Stakes. We greatly appreciate their support and continued commitment to The CBP Foundation.

We were also glad to welcome folks from across CBP that came to support their colleagues and The Foundation, including representatives from the CTPAT Program, the Office of Field Operations (OFO), and the National Targeting Center. Their participation highlighted the strong sense of community that makes this event so meaningful.
And of course, none of this would have been possible without our generous sponsors. Thanks to the support of sponsors, golfers, and supporters, the tournament raised more than $70,000 for the CBP Foundation.
If you’d like to be involved in next year’s event – as a sponsor, golfer, or by donating raffle items – sign up for The CBP Foundation mailing list to stay up to date.
About The CBP Foundation
For over 40 years, the Roger L. Von Amelunxen Foundation (RLVAF) was there for U.S. Customs and CBP employees and their families in times of hardship. When RLVAF concluded its operations in 2023, the CBP Foundation was created to carry that legacy forward.
Today, as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the CBP Foundation provides financial assistance to CBP employees and their families in times of tragedy, serious illness or injury, and other emergencies. Learn more about the CBP Foundation here.
