Integrating Safety and Security into the Future of Cargo and Regulatory Framework

The World Cargo Symposium (WCS) is the largest and most prestigious annual event for the International Airport Transport Association (IATA). WCS 2021 continued to move the industry from talk to action. 

Hosted on October 12-14th in Dublin Ireland, the Symposium featured plenary sessions, specialized streams, workshops and executive summits, tackling aspects related to Technology & Innovation, Security & Customs, Cargo Operations and Sustainability.

In this session, the conversation was focused on how safety hazards cross-cut with security threats requiring more and more integrated approach in risk analysis. Hence the importance of a synchronized approach in development of regulatory framework and industry vision of the future of cargo.
