Major Seaport Expansion Set in Costa Rica

A legal dispute was recently settled that will allow for the Moin Container Terminal, located at the Port of Limon on Costa Rica’s Caribbean Coast, to proceed with major expansion.  The new port, which will be wholly owned by the State of Costa Rica, is expected to drive the nation’s economic growth, particularly as Panama Canal expansion drives increased container shipping through the region in the coming years.
